Revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP has fundamentally changed the way organizations account for revenue. The move to a single, principles-based model has replaced decades of industry-specific guidance, requiring accounting and finance teams to rethink how contracts are evaluated, revenue is measured, and results are reported.
This in-depth yet practical webinar is designed to help professionals confidently apply today’s revenue recognition standard in real-world situations. Rather than focusing only on theory, the session walks through how the five-step framework works in practice—highlighting common judgment areas, documentation expectations, and application challenges that can impact financial statements.
Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of how to analyze customer contracts, identify performance obligations, allocate transaction prices, and determine when revenue should be recognized. The webinar also addresses how these judgments affect financial reporting, internal controls, and audit readiness in an increasingly scrutinized regulatory environment.
Whether you’re responsible for preparing financial statements, reviewing revenue transactions, or supporting strategic decisions, this session provides the clarity and confidence needed to apply GAAP revenue recognition requirements accurately and consistently.
By attending this webinar, you’ll build practical expertise in applying revenue recognition guidance, reduce the risk of misstatements, and enhance your ability to interpret and explain revenue results with confidence.
